The Junior Handball Team Crowned Champions of the Apertura Tournament

The Junior male handball category was crowned champion of the Opening Tournament after defeating Nuestra Señora de Luján at home 23-22, in a match that brought together the top two in the standings.

The River team needed to secure the win to reach first place. In a very close and highly intense match, River managed to edge out a victory by the smallest margin, celebrating another title in front of their fans.

The standout player of the match was Bautista Rodríguez, the top scorer for the team with 10 goals, almost half of River's conversions in the championship decider.

The title capped off an outstanding campaign for the team, which ended the tournament unbeaten, with 13 wins and 2 draws in the 15 matches played.

In addition to the championship, River also celebrated an individual accolade: Tobías Oscar Caracciolo finished as the top scorer of the Opening Tournament, with 127 goals scored throughout the competition.

With this triumph, the Junior category reaffirmed the great current status of the club's formative handball, consolidating the work carried out throughout the season.
